Make an EnquiryAbout Therapy
What is psychosexual therapy?
Psychosexual therapy is a talking therapy that helps individuals and couples understand and work through difficulties related to sexual function, desire, intimacy and connection. Dr Kahv combines her medical background as a GP with specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy training, so sessions can consider both the physical and emotional factors involved.
What kinds of concerns can therapy help with?
Common areas include low desire, pain during sex or vaginismus, erectile difficulties, premature or delayed ejaculation, orgasm difficulties, relationship problems, fertility loss, menopause-related changes, and sexual difficulties following cancer treatment or illness. Sessions also support communication, trust and intimacy concerns more broadly.
Do you work with individuals and couples?
Yes. Dr Kahv works with individuals, couples and those in consensual non-traditional relationships, providing a confidential and inclusive space for clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Is this an NHS or private service?
Dr Kahv Intimate Wellness is a private practice. You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment.
